Niscon Raynok Training
Get to know Raynok Motion Control and operate with confidence!
Niscon is THE DEVELOPER of the Raynok Motion Control System. Our training programs are designed with the direct input of the software and hardware controls engineering teams.
We offer a variety of training programs to suit operators of all levels and understanding of Stage Machinery and Stage Machinery Control Systems. Our programs are available online or in person where a Niscon trainer will provide detailed instruction, opportunities for trainees to ask questions, and graduate certificates at the end of the program. For those who prefer asynchronous training programs we will be offering recorded versions of our training sessions very soon.

Online – Instructor led Eh to Zed
Let’s start at the beginning. This program is focused on taking participants through all aspects of Raynok from logging in, safety in operation, attending to equipment in motion, application options, axis setup, adding controllers, creating views, and user setup/permissions/passwords. Graduates of this program will be able to build Raynok Showfiles from scratch! We like to call it “Eh to Zed” in our best Canadian accent.
This program is a pre-requisite for Raynok R3D training. Niscon recommends this program for all new installations. Taking part in our Eh to Zed program prior to the completion of a Raynok Motion Control System allows participants to prepare ahead of training during commissioning. This process often produces thoughtful feedback and questions, shortening the time it takes onsite to get operators up to speed and reducing down time or tech support questions

- Time commitment: Estimated 30 hours over 5 days
- Goals: Setup, and basic troubleshooting, and Operation of Raynok Standard
Online – Instructor led Raynok Operator
This program is focused on cue building, alteration, and execution on an existing showfile. Participants are lead through the process of building and executing cues, navigating Raynok Views and Macros, setting up and managing alarms, and using cue wizards.
It can also be used as a refresher training for operators who have not touched Raynok for several months. Raynok Owners who do in house training may wish to sign their team up for this program from time to time to keep their skills sharp. Or include it when upgrading versions to get the most out of the recent revisions, new features, and fixes.

Online – Instructor led Showfile Training
This Program is a deep dive into existing showfiles. Commonly packaged together with the Raynok Operator program, this instructor led training will get into the nitty gritty details of Cues/Views/ and Macros and cover best practices specific to the project application.
This is a great stand-alone package for operators with a firm understanding of stage automation and only need to use Raynok for one project.
